Talk: Kubernetes for sofware development
Reading Time: < 1 minuteIn January 2025 I had the great opportunity to talk in my hometown, Oviedo (Spain). The team from Asturias Software Crafters[1] and I met at a conference in the AWS Community Days 2024 Spain[2]. From there, I proposed this talk and they found it useful for their community.
Before continuing, I want to share with you that I have a newsletter where I share real-life lessons for thriving in Software Engineering, Technical Leadership, and Technical Growth. If this is something you are interested in, subscribe now for free and receive an email every week with that content for you to learn about those topics 👇🏻
Continuing with the talk, I wanted to explain how Kubernetes can help software engineers to have a better architecture. And that’s what I explained!
🧡 A perfect atmosphere for an event that I loved.
☸️ At the end of the event, we raffled off a handmade epoxy resin clock with the Kubernetes logo, and people loved it! If you want to see more work from the person who offered the gift for the raffle, I’ll leave the link in the comments.
🙏🏼☺️ I’d like to thank everyone who came by, I loved your participation and all the questions there were, the organization of Asturias Software Crafters (perfect guys), Oviedo Emprende for giving up the space, and a special hug to Ángel Suárez Fernández, PhD for his help doing the live online.
🐙🐵 At the end of this post I’ll leave you the links to the presentation and the GitHub repository of the 2 demos.
You can find the recording in this Youtube Video 👇🏻 Hope you like it! Any feedback is welcome!
